Season one of popular Taiwanese televised singing competition One Million Star nurtured the Million Star Gang which includes Joshua Lu, Aska Yang, Jam Hsiao and the Four Princes of Superstar Avenue, namely Yoga Lin, Judy Chou, Peter Pan and Stanly Xu. These new voices create excitement for the music industry but also made it male-domineering.
