Yoga for Health Education, located at The Village Center, in Traverse City, Michigan, offers practical yoga at all levels in a most unique and tranquil setting – the former State Hospital grounds. This Center for Conscious Living is northern Michigan’s largest yoga facility, featuring four classrooms, offering over 40 weekly yoga classes, and providing a wide array of yoga styles. Jan Matthews and Ann Parker also teach tai chi and qigong classes. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of each individual in a non-competitive and safe environment.

Our retail space accommodates the area’s largest selection of yoga props and a multitude of books on yoga, Ayurveda, nutrition, tai chi and also offers earth-friendly apparel. Gift certificates may be purchased for merchandise as well as for yoga and tai chi classes.
